Buck-Icon Programs
The BUCK-ICON Foundation will address and fill the need for access to program resources that can help to encourage and empower former members of the Ohio State football program to be successful in life after football. Our programs will help former program members become savvy and resolute in their pursuit of their professional endeavors. The goal will be to assist former members of the Ohio State football program in becoming professionals in their respected careers. The BUCK-ICON Foundation will collaborate with other businesses and organizations to help serve the community.
Community Outreach
- The BUCK-ICON Football Fun Camp teaches Underprivileged and Underserved youths the fundamentals of Football, Cancer Education Awareness, Insight, and Wisdom about life skills. Also, we assist with football camps for youth with Special Needs.
- The BUCK-ICON Foundation will speak about Cancer Prevention with a focus on anti-tobacco, skin cancer prevention, healthy eating and exercise. Visit http://www.buckicon.com/speakers-bureau/.
- The BUCK-ICON Foundation will participate in the reading programs offered by the 2nd and Seven Foundation.
Career Development
The BUCK-ICON Foundation will have resume building workshops along with interview tips to prepare for employment opportunities.
Transition Counseling
The BUCK-ICON Foundation is dedicated to helping athletes with transitioning through life's journey and will outsource an executive/transition coach to help our athletes in transition.
Networking
The BUCK-ICON Foundation will provide resources to implement the essentials and the importance of Networking and building a Brand.
Mentorship
The BUCK-ICON Foundation will ask members to mentor and share their experiences with other members of the BUCK-ICON Foundation. BUCK-ICON will partner with Columbus based mentor programs to provide positive influences throughout the community.
Degree Completion
The BUCK-ICON Foundation will work closely with The Ohio State University Degree Completion program to ensure that the athletes are able to utilize this viable resource to complete their college education.
Fund Raising
